What are the opening and closing dates of the season?
  • 2025 season: from April 11 to November 2.
  • 2026 season: from March 27 to November 1.
Can I book half board or full board?

Currently, we do not offer the option of half board or full board. However, we have a wide gastronomic offer in our restaurants and food stores.

Where can we check prices?

What are tourist taxes?

It is a mandatory tax that applies to all people staying in tourist establishments. It is payable at the time of check-in and has a cost of €1.32 per person per night (for over 16 years old, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Can you go for the day without being a guest?

No, access to the facilities is exclusively reserved for guests staying at Camping & Resort Sangulí.

Can visitors be received?

No, in order to control the capacity and guarantee the well-being of our guests, external visits are not allowed inside the facilities of Camping & Resort Sangulí.

Is there WiFi at the resort?

Yes. We have an extensive fibre optic infrastructure, which will allow you to connect for free from any accommodation or common area..

Can you barbecue?

Yes, barbecues are available on the pitch and outside the accommodation, except in Safari Tent, Grand Safari Tent, Bay Tent and Grand Bay Tent.

To ensure safety, it is essential to follow these rules:

  • Maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 m from trees, bungalows and any flammable materials.
  • Do not use flammable liquids to light the fire.
Can electric scooters be used inside the resort?

No, from the 2025 season the use of electric scooters and other personal mobility vehicles will be prohibited within our facilities to ensure the safety of all our guests.

Are electric vehicles allowed for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, electric vehicles used by people with reduced mobility are allowed, as long as they have the documentation that proves their need and have civil liability insurance.

How can I get to Sangulí?

You can get there in different ways:

  • By car: Enter our address in your GPS → Vial de Cavet (T-325), 43840 Salou, Tarragona. GPS reception coordinates: 41°04'52.3"N 1°06'39.1"E.
  • By train: Salou - PortAventura station is just a few minutes away.
  • By plane: Reus airport is the closest, just 15 minutes away.
  • By bus: Several lines connect to Salou and stop near the resort.

Can you arrive at dawn?

Yes, our reception is open 24 hours.

  • If you are staying on a pitch, arrival must be before 11 pm, as it is not allowed to ride after 12 pm to respect the rest of the guests.
  • If you have booked one of our accommodations, you can settle in at any time, trying to make as little noise as possible.
Is there a transfer service at the airport?

Yes. We collaborate with the company Aliance to offer an exclusive shuttle service  that connects the airports of Reus and Barcelona with Sangulí. For more information, please consult our website: www.aliancetransfer.com

At what time can we settle into our pitch on the day of arrival?

Access to the plot is allowed from 1 pm to 11 pm. After that time, it is not allowed to drive with motor vehicles or make noise to respect the rest of the guests.

Is it close to the beach?

Yes, Sangulí is located next to the promenade of Salou. The beach is located just in front of the exit of the Camping. If you are staying at the Resort, an electric train will take you free of charge to the entrance of the Campsite, next to the promenade, for greater comfort.

What time do we have to leave the pitch on the day of departure?

The pitch must be vacated between 7 am and 12 pm. If you have to leave before 7 am, it will be necessary to park the vehicle in the car park at the entrance before 24 am the day before.

This procedure does not imply any discount on the price of the stay.

Where do we park the car?

At Camping Sangulí, parking for one vehicle per accommodation unit is included at no additional cost. 

  • At the campsite, vehicles must be parked within the plot, without invading neighbouring plots or traffic routes.
  • The parking in the resort is not directly at the bungalow.
  • You can also use the parking at the entrance, subject to availability and current rate.
How big are the plots?

At Sangulí campsite, you can choose from five types of pitches, with different sizes and features: Standard, Special, Master, Master Plus, and Premium.

Do the pitches have electricity?

Yes, all pitches have electricity supply (included in the price).

  • Intensity: 10 to 16 amps, depending on the area.
  • Plot W (from number 101): 16 amps (4600 W).
  • Zone A of the campsite: Renovated electrical installation with CETAC connections (according to European trends).
  • The rest of the light sockets are three-phase or Europlug (Type C).

Adapters are available at reception on deposit, but availability is limited, so we recommend you bring your own.

Do the plots have water?

The Master, Master Plus and Premium plots have a water connection and drainage.
In the rest of the areas, there are nearby fountains with drinking water.

Can awnings and ropes be hung?

To respect the environment and coexistence, it is not allowed:

  • Putting ropes, hammocks or other objects on trees, bungalow structures or furniture (lampposts, fountains, etc.).
  • Installing awnings, windscreens or dividers in a disorderly manner.

If you want to install any additional elements on the pitch, you must preserve the aesthetics and good maintenance of the campsite.

Do the plots have shade?

The camping area has abundant vegetation and trees, creating a natural and cool environment on warmer days. However, we cannot guarantee the amount of shade on each particular plot.

Can I hire a pitch for the whole season?

We do not have a specific rate for full-season stays. However, depending on availability, you can reserve a pitch for the whole season with a variable price.

If we have the caravan in a car park, can they enter the campsite to drop it off and pick it up from our plot?

To ensure access control, only the Carvisa company is authorized to pick up caravans inside the Campsite.

Other companies may drop off caravans, but not pick them up. Pick-up is the responsibility of the owner, who must guarantee collection on the date and time established in the contract.

Are pets allowed in the camping area?

Yes! All our pitches are pet-friendly, and at the Resort we have pet-friendly accommodation.

  • Limit: Maximum 2 dogs per accommodation unit.

What time can we settle into our accommodation on the day of arrival?

Your accommodation will be available from 4:00 PM, after we have cleaned it and prepared it for your arrival.

What time do we have to leave our accommodation on the day of departure?

The accommodation must be vacated before 11:00 a.m . on the day of departure.

Where do we park the car?

All accommodations include a free parking space for one car (except Grand Safari Tent, Samburu Lodge, Villa Aqua, and Grand Bay Tent, which have two parking spaces).

  • At the campsite, vehicles must be parked within the pitch, without encroaching on neighboring pitches or access roads.
  • The parking at the resort is not directly next to the bungalow.
  • You can also use the entrance parking area, subject to availability and the current rate.

 

Do the accommodations have sheets and towels?

Yes, they are included:

  • Change of sheets: every 6 days (for stays of more than 7 nights).
  • Change of towels: every 3 days.
Do the accommodations have a hairdryer?

In the Mediterrània accommodations, a hairdryer is available per unit. In the other accommodations, you can request one at the reception with a deposit, subject to availability.

Do the accommodations have an iron?

No, however, an iron can be borrowed at the reception with a deposit, subject to availability.

Do you have cots, high chairs, baby carriages, bathtubs, barriers...?

Yes. You can book cots and pushchairs at an extra cost when making your booking. High chairs, bathtubs and bed barriers are available free of charge, subject to availability. For more information, please contact our reservations center by phone or email.

Can we have visitors if we do not exceed the maximum capacity of the accommodation?

No, in order to guarantee adequate control of the capacity, it is not allowed to receive external visitors inside the Sangulí facilities.

Can we, exceptionally, exceed the capacity of the accommodation?

No, for security reasons, the maximum capacity indicated in the description of the accommodation cannot be exceeded.

Do I have to pay any type of deposit or guarantee?

At check-in, we may ask you for a deposit of up to €200 to cover damage or improper use of the accommodation and its equipment. If everything is in perfect condition, you will receive a refund of the deposit days after your departure.

Is there laundry?

Yes, we have two laundries:

  • One located in the commercial area, near Reception 1, with washing and drying service.
  • Another self-service, located next to the Beauty Center, with cash payment.
Is there a supermarket?

Yes. We have three supermarkets, located in:

  • The entrance to the campsite
  • The Amphitheatre area
  • The Africa area

In them you will find regular supermarket products, as well as bakery, greengrocery, gluten-free food and international specialties.

Is there an ATM?

Yes. We have two ATMs:

  • At the reception of the Resort.
  • At the reception of the Campsite.
Is there a hairdresser?

Yes. We have an Aesthetic Center that offers:

  • Hair salon
  • Massages
  • Depilation
  • Manicure and pedicure

You can inquire about the prices directly at the beauty center, where you can also book an appointment.

Can I buy tickets for PortAventura?

Yes. You can buy tickets at our receptions

  • Same price as in the park
  • Direct access (avoid queues at the ticket office)
Can I rent bicycles?

Yes. We offer bicycle rental service  in all the receptions of Camping & Resort Sangulí with options such as:

  • Touring and mountain bikes
  • Helmets
  • Children's bicycles, child seats and trailers

Important: Bicycles can only be rented once you have arrived.

Is there a Miniclub? For what ages?

Yes, we have two Miniclub spaces, where our Entertainment team organises workshops and activities for children aged 4 to 12 ( check the programme on the website). Children can participate without the need for an accompanying adult, but it is essential that a person in charge stays close to attend to any need.

Is there a childcare service?

No, there is no childcare service, but the play area offers an inviting area where children from 0 to 3 years old can play, explore, and let their imagination run free in a safe and stimulating environment. Children must always be under the supervision and responsibility of an adult.

Are there any animation activities?

Yes. Our Entertainment team organizes activities for all ages, including:

  • Guided fitness classes
  • Children's workshops
  • Sports competitions
  • Family games
  • Evening shows

Do you have gluten-free food in restaurants?

Yes. The three restaurants at Camping & Resort Sangulí are certified by the Catalan Celiac Association. In addition, in our supermarkets and bakeries you will find a wide range of gluten-free and lactose-free products.

Can you go to the restaurant without being a guest?

We do not accept external reservations in Sangulí's restaurants, except for Restaurant 1972, where it is possible to book dinner service.

Are there sun loungers in the pools?

Yes. All our pool areas have free sun loungers. It is not allowed to book sunbeds if you are not inside the pool area.

Is there a heated pool?

No, our pools are outdoor and not heated.

However, most of the season we enjoy ideal temperatures for bathing.

Are dogs allowed?

 Yes. All our pitches are pet-friendly. In addition, in the Africa area  we have Masai Lodge and Samburu accommodations, and in  the Caribbean, Villa Paradise, which allow pets. Do dogs have to pay?

Yes, there is a fee for their stay. In exchange, they can enjoy our exclusive facilities in the Pet Club, which include a swimming pool, bathtub, pipicán and agility area.

What facilities can pets use?

At Sangulí we promote a Pet Friendly policy, allowing dogs access to most of our facilities, with the exception of those restricted by health regulations, such as:

  • Pools
  • Health
  • Playgrounds and playgrounds
  • Food Stores

In addition, we have a Pet Club with a swimming pool, bathtub, picnic pool and agility area. For more details, visit the Pet Friendly section  on our website.

Is it necessary to submit documentation?

Yes. At check-in, you will need to present:

  • Up-to-date vaccination card
  • Document accrediting the identification microchip.

In case of traveling with a dog considered PDD (Potentially Dangerous Dog):

  • Administrative license and certification of the animal's registration in the Municipal Register of potentially dangerous animals.
  • Civil liability insurance.

Failure to provide this documentation may result in a denial of access. The pet's stay will be subject to payment of the corresponding fee.

What are the best beaches in Salou?

The most popular ones are Llevant Beach, Ponent Beach, and Capellans Beach, all awarded the Blue Flag and offering a wide range of services.

Are there tourist activities near Sangulí Salou?

Yes! PortAventura, water sports, historical sites like the Salou Lighthouse and Torre Vella, among many other options.

Are there public transportation options to the tourist attractions?

Salou has a local bus service that connects different areas of the city, beaches, the historic center, and PortAventura. Additionally, Salou is well connected by train, with a station linking the city to Barcelona and other cities along the Costa Dorada.
There is also a taxi service, and it's particularly worth mentioning the bicycle rental available at Sangulí Salou, as the city has an extensive network of bike lanes, allowing you to explore the city in a more independent way.

Can tourist activities be booked from the resort?

Yes! At the reception, you can purchase tickets for PortAventura and other activities without waiting in line.

What are the opening hours of the nearby tourist attractions?

The opening hours for tourist activities in Salou can vary depending on the time of year and the day of the week. The theme park PortAventura World has hours that change depending on the season, but generally, it opens around 10:00 AM and closes after 8:00 PM.
It is recommended to check the specific hours for each tourist activity and transportation in advance to avoid surprises.

Are there any dining options at Sangulí Salou?

At Sangulí campsite, our restaurants offer a wide range for all tastes: Mediterranean and international cuisine, children's menus, gluten-free options, and delicious desserts. Enjoy your meal outdoors, a special dinner, or a snack between swims.

What are the best beaches in Cambrils for children?

Cambrils has ideal beaches for families, with fine sand and shallow waters that ensure safety and fun for the little ones. Playa de l'Esquirol is perfect for a peaceful day by the sea, with a nearby playground. If you're looking for a quieter atmosphere, Playa de Vilafortuny offers a family-friendly environment with fewer crowds.
For those who prefer a livelier setting, Playa del Regueral is a great choice, offering plenty of space, lifeguard services, and various water activities for children to fully enjoy the sea.

What is the weather like in Cambrils during the summer months?

Cambrils enjoys a warm Mediterranean climate during the summer months. Average temperatures range between 20°C and 32°C, with July and August being the hottest months. A gentle sea breeze is common, making the heat more pleasant. Rainfall is scarce during this time of the year, allowing for long, sunny beach days.

Are there additional costs for participating in the animation activities?

All the animation activities of Sangulí Salou that are on the program are included in the stay at the campsite. Some additional activities, such as access to the gym, rental of padel tennis courts, mini golf or the new activity SUP yoga, do have an additional cost.

What are the best hiking and cycling routes for families?

Cambrils and its surroundings offer hiking routes for all levels, from coastal walks to scenic mountain trails. The Camino de Ronda Trail stretches 8 km (5 miles) along the coastline, providing breathtaking views of the Mediterranean. For nature lovers, the Montsant Route takes you through the Montsant Natural Park, showcasing impressive mountain landscapes and panoramic views of the Siurana River Valley.
If you prefer a longer, more relaxed ride, the Baix Ebre Greenway follows the old railway track for 23 km (14 miles), passing through the Ebro Delta and rural areas—perfect for a scenic family bike ride.

Our professional entertainers are prepared to adapt the different activities according to the functional diversity whenever necessary.
