Camping & Resort Sangulí Salou has started this Friday, 5th of April, the 47th season. The season has begun with the best new: winning, for the second consecutive year, the ANWB award to the Campsite of the year in the Best Accommodation category. Up to today’s opening the team has been working on an improvement plan that reaffirms their commitment to quality and excellence, and most of them have been implemented thanks to the experience and inputs from their customers.

The Amphitheatre area is experiencing a radical change. At the Amphitheatre building, Sanguli’s iconic construction opened almost 30 years ago, a complete refurbishment has taken place. It has been adapted to make it more comfortable and secure with an improvement in the box seats, the seats and the illumination of the stairs. In addition, some central box seats have been expanded to create a premium area to eat à la carte. It will be a privileged area to enjoy the shows. There have also taken place works on the renewal of the backstage, where every summer night the professional animation team gets ready to make our customers enjoy. The opening of this area will be soon.

At Tàrraco there will also be a full refurbishment, both in the building and the furniture. The new bar and restaurant will offer a wider menu with rice and à la carte dishes. There will be a renewal of the kitchens, which will be more spacious and its location will be changed. This way the bar and restaurant’s kitchen and the Deli Food’s will be together, improving the work process and offering a better experience to our final customer. Both, the Deli Food (the take away restaurant) and the toilets will have a new image, and a new bar will be added outside. And to cater better for costumers needs, this year toilets are being built behind the slides of the Fiesta Pool. This way swimmers and pool users will have the toilets closer.

There have also been changes in the camping area as well as in the Resort area. On the one hand, following the project to improve all the pitches, this season the Special pitches A area has been improved. All the wiring has been changed and the plugs and sockets have been renewed to adapt it to the European trend. In addition, all the lighting has been changed to make customers’ stay more comfortable. The changes will be noticeable in the main paths with dual illumination lampposts that change depending on the time, also in the path between pitches, where there will be little lampposts that will shed light from the ground. The new lampposts are exclusively produced for Sangulí. The pitch number signposts of this area will also be replaced with clearer and more tractive ones. On the other hand, accommodations have also been improved. In the Tahití Suites we have changed and renewed all the kitchens, to provide bungalows a new image. Besides, some works have been done as part of our small annual remodelling tasks to keep our accommodations in excellent conditions.

At the Sports Area there will be a renewal of the Minigolf. The current circuit will be respected but the grass will we replaced to make the game more dynamic. And to liven up our facilities, this year the renewal of our botanical park is being carried out as it is
