Gastronomy is very present in our culture and Salou offers an exceptional activity all year round to enjoy its gastronomy. "Tasta Salou" offers every Thursday the opportunity to taste the gastronomy of the municipality with a tapa and a drink for only €6.
The cultural and leisure movement in Salou is maintained throughout the year, although it naturally grows during the summer months, already at the end of May we can enjoy activities organized by the town hall such as "Ocells de Salou", a walk through the promontory of Salou, where you can see typical Mediterranean species, seagulls, cormorants and maybe even an albatross.

Gastrotour
Between June 5 and 11, the restaurants in Salou will come together to celebrate the Gastrotour. In this edition, gourmet dishes from all over the world are prepared so that you can enjoy a wide variety of flavors without straying too far.
Triathlon challenge salou
A middle distance triathlon in the capital of the Costa Dorada. A series of competitions with different distances that will allow you to enjoy the sport together with the Challenge Salou party.

If you are still not sure where to experience the most magical night of the year, Salou is waiting for you to celebrate San Juan by the sea.
JULY IN SALOU: FIRE, FISH DEMONSTRATIONS AND MUSICAL SHOWS
Correfoc
During the month of July, the correfoc takes over the streets of Salou. The groups Diables Maleïts, Les Bruixes “Latemó” and Xaloc i la Morena let you experience the authentic spectacle of fire in the streets.
Calada de les malles
Around the celebration of the Virgen del Carmen Feast, the Fishermen's Association of Santa María del Mar organizes traditional fish exhibitions that showcase the art of "Tirar l'Art" used by the ancient fishermen of the area.
Port Aventura on tour
The magic of PortAventura cannot be missed in the summer of Salou, the large theme park leaves a foretaste in a musical show with Woody and Winnie that the whole family will enjoy.

Noches Doradas
On August 15, Salou celebrates the day of Santa María del Mar, its patron saint. Salou City Council organizes the Nits Daurades, a number of holidays that unite a large number of events, concerts, shows and cultural events that end with a spectacular fireworks display on Paseo Jaime I.
These festivities are perfect to unite the revelry of the inhabitants of Salou with that of its visitors and will give you the best idea of a place not to be missed.
