Camping & Resort Sangulí Salou has been chosen as the winner of the ACSI Award, specifically in the “Best Campsite Pool Spain” category, which seeks to reward the establishment with the most spectacular pools. Yolanda Tiñena, Quality Director of Sangulí Salou; and Sergi Novell, Director of Accommodation at Sangulí Salou, received the award this morning from two ACSI inspectors.
The award has been received thanks to the vote of more than 50,000 people affiliated with ACSI, who, since last December have been able to vote for their favourite campsites in 8 different categories. This award comes in a special season, since this year, Sangulí Salou celebrates its 50th anniversary.
This is the first edition of the ACSI Awards and they are an initiative to celebrate and give more visibility to campsites. ACSI is an international entity of reference for many campers that offers general information on campsites in Europe and publishes a prestigious campsite guide. In addition, each year, an inspector is in charge of visiting each campsite to assess the quality standards and the services it offers.
Sangulí Salou has received this recognition from ACSI users for having been able to evolve and adapt to the trends and needs of families who, year after year, choose it as their holiday destination; half a century in which it has continued to maintain its essence and has become a benchmark for European tourism.
The Lodges and the Safari Tents of Africa or the new Villas of the Mediterrània are just an example of the thematic diversity that exists throughout the enclosure. It also has a large camping area, five pool areas, playgrounds and many green spaces to be in contact with nature in maximum comfort.
